Delete your Heartwave account

You can delete your account and its data yourself, at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Heartwave and go to Profile.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password, type DELETE to confirm, and tap the delete button.

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

• Your profile, photos, videos, voice intro, prompts and preferences
• Your Stories and Vibes
• Your matches and every message you sent or received
• Your likes, passes, blocks and notification settings
• Any verification selfie and your face-verification consent
• Your login

We may keep a small amount of information where the law requires it or to deal with safety reports and fraud (for example to stop a banned person registering again). Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule. See the Privacy Policy.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@heartwavedating.com from the address you signed up with and write "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we aim to complete the request within 30 days.

Just want a break?

You can pause your account instead (Profile → Pause account). You are hidden and can come back whenever you like.
